Danny Welbeck and Arsenal’s season are looking grim

Arsenal’s season started off rather promising as they managed to seal up the top spots of the Premier League and stay up to par with the table-toppers Leicester City for the majority of the season but after a recent string of underwhelming results and dropped points, Arsenal started to lose their pace for the league title and the only way that the team of Arsene Wenger can become the champions of England will be if Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur both begin to lose matches at a consistent basis.

There is a realistic possibility of Arsenal becoming the new champions of England but it will ultimately depend on the results that the top 2 clubs manage to get and from the looks of it, they don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

In Arsenal’s Champions League run, Arsene Wenger’s team failed to reach the quarter-finals of the European competition as they lost against Barcelona with an aggregate score of 5-1. After these matches were over, Danny Welbeck had a few things to say in relation to why Arsenal lost and why they have been falling apart in these later stages of the season.

“We had some chances, it was difficult to come here 2-0 down but we had a plan to get through, it was a difficult occasion for us and unfortunately we couldn’t get through. We had a couple of opportunities where we should have done better and with the quality they have then they are clinical when they have chances.Coming to the Nou Camp you really want to leave your mark, we could have done better in certain situations and it is disappointing.” Read More

[PES 2011] Master League Highlights and Update

Just a rapid update on my Master League team and some highlights from a match against Porto. Here we have my goalkeeper Fatecha who I picked up from my Youth Group, producing a nice conserve early in the match. He’s been strong all time. In the 44th moment, D’Alessandro breaks the deadlock with a decent free kick with a bit of lot of money it has to be explained. A minute later, Yakubu towers previously mentioned every person and helps make it two nil with a header from a corner kick. In the 2nd 50 percent, Welbeck takes a pass from D’Alessandro and strikes it initial time with a superb complete off the post. In the 49th moment, Castro pulls a single back again for Porto capitalizing on a mistake by Ruskin. A scramble in the box leads to Castro stripping the ball right ahead of left back again Ruskin and puts it in the much publish. In the 55th minute, Welbeck puts the game fully out of reach finishing off a fantastic play initiated from the wing. Welbeck had a great match which deservedly make him gentleman of the match. On to the league standings, we are at the moment in 1st possessing only misplaced three matches so significantly. This is the latest formation we are taking part in with our captain D’Alessandro pulling the strings in the middle. I have brought in Mensah to supply leadership to young defenders I’ve signed from my Youth Staff. Palmieri, Schmidt, Shimizu, and Schwarz have all came from the Youth Team to make a big difference. Josue, a Brazilian defensive mid has brought a bit of flair to the midfield but most importantly, he’s been a handful for opposing
