EVERTON INTERESTED IN ATTACKING DUO

Everton are said to be interested in the signing of Danny Welbeck and Wilfred Zaha according to reports from England. It is thought that the Toffees are looking to strengthen the attack that was a problematic position for the club last season.

The departure of AdemolaLookman to RB Liepzig means that the club are in need of a wide forward and Wilfred Zaha fits the bill. The Crystal Palace forward had been linked with a move to Arsenal but the Gunners have shifted their attentions to Lille forward Nicolas Pepe.

This has paved the way for Everton to take the lead for the 26 year old and there were claims by Sky Sports that Everton had tabled a transfer fee of £60 million for his services. According to the report Crystal Palace and Everton are currently negotiating on a transfer for the Ivory Coast international.

Wilfred Zaha would be expected to bring creativity and tricky to the attacking third were the club suffered last season. This could mean that Richarlison continues his transition from a winger to a centre forward.

Meanwhile there are reports that Everton are one of the clubs that are interested in England forward Danny Welbeck. Welbeck is currently out of contract this summer and expected to leave Arsenal after an injury hit time at the club.

Everton are looking to offer the forward a contract as they look to add more firepower to the attacking third. Despite his injury problems, Danny Welbeck is considered a quality Premier League standard forward.

If he makes the move he would be the second former Arsenal player to complete a move to Everton in Two years following the arrival of Theo Walcott in 2018.

However West Ham stand as the major obstacle for the club as the Hammers are interested in the 28 year old forward.
