Everton have been linked to signing of Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck according to reports across England. Welbeck is out of contract in the summer and just recovered from a long-term injury with the player pictured training ahead of Arsenal final game of the season against Burnley.
It is understood that the Toffees want to take advantage of the lack of transfer fee and snap the England international in the summer. Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck has tipped Jack Wilshere to go on to the next level after leaving the Emirates Stadium. The England striker said he was gutted to see him teammate leave the north London club but then he understood the reason for the decision.
Wilshere explained that despite the club offering him a reduced contract offer due to his fitness situation, the incoming manager Unai Emery told him clearly that he would have considerable playing time so he decided to leave Arsenal.

He had to come off during the recent 2-1 defeat at Watford with a recurrence of the groin strain which had kept him out previously.
